We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales / Proposal Manager to serve as the focal point for developing technical and commercial proposals for capital projects, aftermarket projects, and replacement parts sales within the industrial cooling tower industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills, with a background in industrial markets such as power generation, refining, or petrochemical industries.
Log and maintain all business development opportunities in the company CRM system.
Review client project inquiries to determine proposal requirements.
Ensure all necessary data for estimates and proposal development is obtained.
Distribute inquiry documents to appropriate internal stakeholders.
Prepare draft proposals using company-standard formats for field sales and management review.
Obtain and evaluate vendor proposals for replacement parts inquiries.
Finalize and issue management-approved proposals to clients.
Prepare turnover documentation for all new incoming orders.
Follow up on replacement parts opportunities and maintain client relationships.
Required:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university; technical field preferred. Equivalent industrial sales experience may substitute for a degree.
5–7 years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service, preferably in heavy industrial markets.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with proven ability to meet critical deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to research and analyze internal and external documents effectively.
Preferred:
Experience in power generation, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial markets.
Familiarity with online procurement systems (e.g., Power Advocate, Ariba).
Starting Salary 75K a year
