Position Summary
The Misys ERP Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Misys (Finastra) enterprise resource planning and financial systems. This role works closely with finance, operations, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial processing, reporting, and system performance. The ideal candidate has strong functional and technical knowledge of Misys ERP modules and a solid understanding of financial systems and controls.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Support
Administer, configure, and maintain Misys (Finastra) ERP applications
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects
Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and version enhancements
Ensure system availability, data integrity, and security compliance
Functional & Business Support
Support finance and operations teams with day-to-day ERP usage
Translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows
Assist with GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Treasury, or Loan Accounting modules
Validate transactions, balances, and financial reporting accuracy
Implementation & Enhancements
Participate in ERP implementations, conversions, and integrations
Support data migration, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Document system processes, configurations, and controls
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Reporting & Compliance
Generate and maintain financial, operational, and regulatory reports
Support audits, SOX controls, and internal compliance requirements
Assist with reconciliations and period-end/month-end close processes
Collaboration & Training
Work with internal IT teams and external vendors/consultants
Provide end-user training and system documentation
Serve as a subject-matter expert for Misys ERP functionality
Required Qualifications
Experience working with Misys / Finastra ERP or financial systems
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
Experience supporting ERP modules related to finance or operations
Ability to analyze business processes and system workflows
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with SQL, reporting tools, or ERP query tools (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments
ERP implementation or upgrade experience
Knowledge of integrations with HR, payroll, treasury, or third-party systems
Familiarity with SOX, audit, or regulatory reporting requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
Work Environment
Office, hybrid, or remote depending on organizational needs
May require after-hours support during system upgrades or close cycles
